A Place in your heart

Some things last forever or nearly so.

Much we like or wish for is fleeting. Replacing
a treasured companion with something else
is not always helpful.

Life and love may be a battlefield. Scars
are a result of leaving a place where loss
and injury remain, providing a bittersweet
substitute.

Honor your loves with new ones.

Don't try to replace your old cat, heal
and help foster a new life, a new love.

Goochies "Trouble" now known as Lucy Lu appropriates the bed from the dog!

Hi Gary,

I am forwarding some pictures to you from my camera.
Lucy is so much fun. She is petite, and graceful (Yea, RIGHT!)
She keeps up with Mack no problem. As you will see she has
taken over our pet bed that belonged to my brother's tiny yorkie.
She loves this bed and hides her toys in the side.
I will send more next month...

How "Rocky" (Gooeys red boy) did when he went home

I made it home! He was great as
he slept on the flight home from Ft. Lauderdale to Detroit and on the
car ride home. He was curled up in his carrier under the seat in front
of me and he did not make a sound even as the plane took off! I was
wondering if he would ever come around! But he did just as soon as we
got home to London, he stepped out of the carrier and made himself at
home. Here are a few pictures for you to see how he has settled in!

I named him Rocky! He is wonderful. He is mischievous and playful.
This little guy is not afraid of anything - not the vacuum, hair dryer -
only curious and follows me around. He bounces around with spirited
energy. He is so animated and he gives me hours of enjoyment! He sits
on my bathroom counter and watches me while I get ready for work each
morning. Then we play 'hide and seek' until it's time for me to leave.

He is now weighing in at 3.2 lbs as of last night! So he has put on 1
lb. since I brought him home.

Gary, I want to thank you for coming to meet me at the airport and for
following up with Rocky's progress. He is doing so well!

Gooeys Black Smoke Boy (Now Charlie) at his new home, playing and doing well

Hey Gary,

Charlie is great we love him and he sure shows he loves us.
If you leave the room he'll meow and when i say his name he comes running
to where you are.
We laugh @ his little antics all the time.
Thanks again for added family member

Water and digestive upsets with kittens

It was pointed out to me today that city water or
water in a new town could cause digestive upset
especially in kittens but possibly in sensitive adults
also.

I would recommend being on the safe side and
using purified water, and I like Drinkwell
as a fountain for cats.

Jacob growing up - how he's doing!

Hi Gary,

Updating on Jacob, he is growing up beautifully!
He is a very active little guy always wanting to
play and sit by me. As I type this he is hiding
behind my laptop clawing at my hands - haha
Sneaky :P

When I come home he runs to greet me and
never wants me to put him down! He loves
sitting by the window to watch the trees
move around.

Sending some pictures your way :) and congrats
to Reddy!
