Sparta now getting along with Mandy and all the dogs, growing up quick

Posted by Picasa

hey gary,
sorry i haven't wrote you in while! i've been on vacation
this week and thing's have been busy!
sparta is doing great! he's gotten so big, seem's like
he's doubled in size since i got him! he's a very active boy!
never sit's still long enough for me to take a picture,
they always turn out to be a blur, lol so the only time
i can really catch him on camera is when he's sleeping.
mandy and sparta get along really good, which is awesome!
she likes to bully him around every now and then and will
get on top of him, pinning him down and wont let him up
and he start's crying and i gotta pull him away, lol.
he loves to play with the playstation3 controller too,
i don't know why ... and of course, rubber bands!
he has taken all of our hair rubber bands and hides
them! everytime he see's one he will play with it,
pick it up in his mouth and carry it away somewhere,
which i still haven't found his stash, yet....
he's still picking on the dalmatian, haha ...
swatting his tail, but dom takes it like a champ and
tries to ignore him or just moves away.
sparta is also sooooo lovable and sweet!! he loves
to climb up on my lap and just want's me to rub his
belly for as long as i'll do it for him and he just
purr's as loud as he can! he is more into being with
people than mandy is, sparta just loves his attention.
boy is he ever a talker!! i swear you could probably
hold a conversation with him. he's just too funny ...
everyone loves him and he is such an adorable little guy!!
here are some updated picture's of sparta & mandy!! enjoy.

Hi Gary,

Sorry it's been so long since we've last sent any updates:

Squash is wild and thriving here in Wisconsin. He's a very
big part of the family and entertains everyone who comes into
contact with him. He's also getting HUGE! Attached are some
pictures of Squash at different points of his development along
with a couple of his big sister Celtic! :) Hope all is well
with you, we're going to be in south Florida in the near future
and have been very tempted at the thought of one more kitten!

Regards,

Nick & Colleen

"Tuxedo" doing great at his new home

Posted by Picasa

Hi Gary.....Tuxedo is doing just great....we love him so much already and he's done nothing but bring joy to our lives.....a real pleasure to have him...he follows us all over the house and really enjoys being with people and he seems to get along with our yorkie too....and, so far, doesn't seem interested in the parrot which I am happy about. The only habit that I want him to get away from is that he seems to enjoy biting real thin wires....I'm afraid he will try to bite bigger ones (electric wires) and hurt himself. Thanks again .........Charly

Note: There is a product available to use with kittens to keep
them from biting wires called Bitter Apple or otherwise there
are products to keep kittens away from objects they might chew
on or pee on etc. I encourage use of these products instead of
attempting "discipline" which is somewhat ineffective and can
confuse kittens/cats. - Gary

A retired Smokey relaxes at his forever home

Posted by Picasa

Hi,

I was visiting your website earlier and it dawned on
me I hadn't sent anything about Smokey in a while. He
is doing really great, he loves to run around with the
other boys Drama and Trouble. He has gotten to be quite
a lap cat as well. I have gotten him trained to "sit"
"high five" and "beg" when it is treat time but haven't
gotten anything else in mind to try. I hope all is well
with you and your family!

Gary...here are photos I took of Tuxedo (who we
really haven't settled on a name as of yet...we're also
thinking of "Felix) plus a few others.

Charly

PS..we are absolutely delighted at our new addition...
He seems to be settling in real quick....he hid for a
lil while yesterday which was his first day but today,
he willingly seeks our company and plays with his
toys....of course, as you know, he will be 100% loved
and looked after...once again, Many many Thanks to you....

Sparta settling in and doing great at his new home

Posted by Picasa

Hey Gary,
So sparta is doing really good!! He's almost completely use
to the dogs now and actually slept with maddy (yorkie) and sophie
(dalmatian) last night, which was so cute, but didn't get any pix.

So you know how mandy LOVES lobster? well, Sparta LOVES steak!! I had filet mignon tips and he ate an entire tip by himself. he's gotten better with not biting so hard, which I'm thankful for haha. He has gotten A LOT more vocal too!! Today he won't stop talking!! and he just loves making those biscuit's!!! (that's what we've always called them when they knead with their paws)He got his first bath with me today, which he didn't like at all! wasn't too bad, he just didn't like it.
Anyway, just thought I'd shoot you a quick update.
